A rare bird indeed.

A rare bird indeed.

Sometimes you hear authors talk about how they treat writing like a job, and they start writing at 9 in the morning and then finish at 5pm. Just like a regular job (if there is such a thing). And you kind of get the idea that you have to do that. And then I realise that maybe they do that, but they may have written 20 novels. But none of them are all that great. And then you get the authors who write one great book, and can never get their act together ever again. One, or maybe two is all they had in them. But it’s a great book. Better than 1,000 mediocre books. And I know what which work ethic I want to follow.

Some people still think like this.
Making them the lower type by default.

But we had hope and stayed and in the end didn’t lose all our money. But I have to check all my little books to see if they can be saved.
Let’s have hope.

And make your teeth ache.

for the interesting times ahead.
